This looks like an excellent book. Saw the original when it came out but haven't gotten around to it yet. Seems I'm falling behind; I must fix this.
I can attest The Turquoise Serpent was a lot of fun to read. I have Flowers of the Moon right here in paperback in my TBR pile.
Disagree. The second book has a better flow than the first. It is superior.
